So I went to Disneyland on Saturday after hearing that EXO was around, I missed them since they had to leave but I was like “w/e not going to let that destroy my time at Disneyland.” I went with my friend Minh since he had a pass and we went to California Disney first. At around 8-ish we went to get in line for Tower of Terror and it said the wait time was like 65 minutes so we were there for a while. About a third of the way in to the line, I see this guy like, skip-running to a spot a little farther up from where we were and I thought “Bitch must be hot enough to be cutting us in line!!!” kind of as a joke but then I glanced at his face and I was like “….MINH OMG THAT GUY THAT GUY IS FROM DBSK OMG” and I started freaking out at him (lol sorry minh). I heard that Changmin was at Knott’s so I assumed he was still there.
Anyways, I didn’t want to ask for an autograph or photo or anything cause a. How do you just approach Shim Changmin from THE legendary DBSK, b. I didn’t really want to disturb him cause I’m sure he just wanted to get on the ride and gtfo, and c. I’m shy as fuck, more-so with males. But anyway, with the way the line wrapped around for Tower of Terror, I passed him a few times. He was just glancing at his phone and talking to his coordi’s most of the time. My friend Minh kept reminding me that “there was probably never going to be a chance like this ever again and once he’s inside that building, all chances will be lost” so just as I passed him again for the last time, I walked up to him and asked for an autograph! I was oddly very calm but I think I was probably just starstruck LOL. I was like “uhhh.. Changmin….Can I have an autograph?” but I don’t think he understood so I asked again but I used “sign” instead and he understood.
SHIM CHANGMIN ASKED FOR MY NAME. I DIED. I DIEEEEED.
I think it was loud cause I had to repeat myself but hearing my name roll off his tongue is dlfjhkdsjfhkafh no god please I probably wouldn’t be able to take it a second time. I CAN’T BELIEVE HE PERSONALIZED THE AUTOGRAPH. I’M SO USED TO PEOPLE JUST SIGNING THEIR NAME AND THAT BEING THE END OF IT. dksjfhkajhfkasjhfk
After he signed it, I pretty much said “Thank you so much” and walked away normally. LOL Then I got back to Minh and freaked the fuck out. The lady in front of me and her husband laughed but they were like “I’m glad you did it!!”
I think he was surprised? I think it’s because it was already getting dark so he probably hopped over to Disneyland WHILE it was dark to avoid the fangirls? IDK, it’s not like I was following him. I just wanted to get on the ride tbh. LOL Luck just happened to be on my side. `o` I was actually only one ride away from him. :( I wish I could’ve been on the same one but I was also screaming really hard and I got scared on the ride and grabbed Minh’s arm out of fear.
